Real Wedding: Allie & Justin – Refined Rustic at Kortright Centre for Conservation

When I saw the captures by photographer Ryan Bolton of Allie & Justin’s wedding day at Kortright Centre for Conservation I was blown away at how stunning they were. From the lush forest setting, to Allie’s gorgeous dress, and their glamourous wedding party – everything was beautiful and perfect.

Celebrating their wedding over the Canada Day long weekend in July, what you don’t see behind the photos is how this was legitimately the hottest. day. ever. As in a record-breaking 40 plus degrees celcius on top of incredible humidity as well. But through it all, I was in awe of how Allie & Justin, and their wedding party, still looked like they had just stepped out of a magazine (even after walking all over the grounds for photos). Impressive!

Following their ceremony in the breathtaking Cathedral of Trees on the Kortright grounds, guests dined in the Glass House – the most perfect indoor/outdoor space complete with wooden beams and a glass roof that makes you feel like you’re right in nature. I love when couples dress up a rustic space, and the addition of chandeliers was a perfect way to add a touch of elegance.
