Real Wedding: Jennifer & Paul – Modern Elegant Wedding at the Boulevard Club
May 7th marked the start of As You Wish Weddings’ season, and what an amazing way to kick off the season it was!
We absolutely loved working with Jennifer & Paul on their wedding at the Boulevard Club in Toronto. The venue is located overlooking the waters of Lake Ontario, and has beautiful views of the city skyline. With many different indoor and outdoor areas for photos, cocktail hour and the reception, along with impeccable service by the club’s staff – it is a venue not to be missed.
We were heavily involved in the decor and the design of Jennifer & Paul’s wedding, who wanted their big day to reflect their modern and elegant taste. With the help of Ooh La La Designs, we transformed the ballroom at the Boulevard Club with a gorgeous head table backdrop featuring a 24ft white hydrangea garland, drapery, and candle-lit glass orbs. Clear chiavari chairs added a touch of chic, while white sequin linens and chandeliers made the room sparkle.
Tall cylinder candles grouped together at the front of the room created a soft, romantic atmosphere. On the guest tables we infused the bride’s favourite colour – limpet shell blue – through glass bottles filled with single stems of white ranunculus.
