Rustic Luxe Winter Wedding Inspiration

In our Canadian climate, the Summer months might be most popular for weddings…but who says Winter weddings can’t be equally stunning?

Last week, we had the pleasure of planning, coordinating and styling an inspirational photoshoot that took place at Serenity Cottage – a year-round exclusive waterfront retreat on the shores of Georgian Bay. Using the stunning rustic property as a back drop, we chose deep, moody colors of oxblood and black, complimented by lighter tones of peach, cream and natural greenery to create a dramatic, yet intimate, Winter wedding setting.

Though the weather called for a snow storm on the day of the shoot (during one of Ontario’s mildest Winter’s on record!) providing a few challenges, the end result was everything I had envisioned and was beautifully captured by one of my favourite photographers, Simply Lace Photography.
